Something old and something new

I am still really into dunnies, but decided it was time to rest the black and gold series. So, i decided to keep going with the somewhat organic curvalinear aesthetic but in more of a mosiac. I have one more frsh dunnie left before I need to go back to blick but I havent decided if I will keep going with the silver and seafoam or start something new

I finally finished all three. It's time for a new series of dunnies, although I do have a ton of black and gold pens now.

I have been some what behind on blog posts; mainly because I've started grad school and haven't been set aside time to be creative. Since I have no work worth posting, I decided to use a quote:

Dunny friend

I haven't done a lot of art lately but I've started on a new dunny. Im having some difficulties with the deco pen and making sure the paint isn't sticky. I've tried some fixative but its not helping much. Here's my progress so far.

ink Drawings || Possible Paintings

Since I am thinking of the next paintings I want to do, I created small 4x6 ink drawings.  since these tend to be more fine line/neat designs I may do a combination of acyrllic and deco pens. I really enjoyed the precession deco pens provide since paint can be difficult to make even thinkness lines.

Creative burst

I had seen a purse on etsy I really liked, but I was was to cheap to drop $120 on it. I decided that I would make my own pattern and make it myself.  Okay, so I lied..I didn't really make a pattern, I just slapped together the basic shape and went from there. I started making this a few months ago but I had a suddenly had a spurt of creative energy.
